The Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra opened our annual concert again this year under the title "People Behind the Instruments." The young musicians entertained with a diverse program ranging from the Highlands to the Orient. The program was hosted by Leni Breig and Luca Neumaier.

Two talented young musicians in our training program have earned the bronze Young Musician Achievement Badge (JMLA). We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the young musicians, Henrike Witzke (flute) and Lina Lauble (tenor horn), on passing their achievement badge. The achievement badge now qualifies the young musicians to join the Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra. The certificate and badge of honor were presented by the managing director of the town band, Reinhard Meyer, and youth representative Leni Breig.

In beautiful weather, many visitors came with their children. In an instrument rally, the children were able to learn all about instruments and try out all kinds of musical instruments. The youth orchestra gave a concert, and the young musicians presented their instruments.

Our youngest members of the city band received their well-earned silver certificates from our conductor Raphael Janz and our youth representative Leni Breig. We are delighted that they successfully passed their exams and are now actively participating in our city band.

On Sunday, the Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra participated in the youth orchestra gathering celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Oberwolfach Trachtenkapelle (Traditional Costume Band). The youth orchestra performed a total of 13 pieces in the festival tent in Oberwolfach from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. With arrangements such as "Never Too Late," "Saxes Will Rock," and "Never Gonna Give You Up," the youth orchestra entertained the audience with modern pop songs.

On Friday at 8:00 p.m., the first sounds of the Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra could be heard on the Klosterplatz in Hausach. With the very fitting title "A Good Start," the youth orchestra opened our first summer evening concert of 2024. The youth orchestra's pieces captivated the audience, and the saxophones were able to demonstrate their talent in "Saxes Will Rock."

The Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra opened our annual concert "Simply the Best" with "Saxes Will Rock!" The youth orchestra continued its entertaining performance with excellent presentations by Leni Breig and Luca Neumaier, as well as other pieces.

On Sunday, the Hausach Town and Fire Brigade Band hosted its first family get-together. The weather was great, and many visitors came. The children were able to earn ice cream in a music-themed rally, and they also had the opportunity to try out all kinds of musical instruments. The children's wind orchestra performed some of its pieces, and the children introduced their instruments. The youth orchestra also gave a short concert, and the young people also introduced their instruments.

In the evening, the Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra was once again a guest at Braig's Strausse for its annual summer finale. They entertained the guests with a short program, followed by a meal. Now it's time for a well-deserved summer break, and with the start of school, the musical activities will resume.

On May 26, the Hausach Town and Fire Brigade Band performed their summer evening concert with the support of the Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra. With excellent weather and a fantastic audience, all the musicians had a great time playing.

The Hausach/Fischerbach Youth Orchestra rocked Munich. On Friday morning, they set off for Munich by bus. Upon arrival, there was a short program followed by a communal meal. Saturday was free for everyone to explore the city. Before returning home on Sunday, there was a visit to the Bavaria Film Studios.

On Wednesday evening, the Hausach/Fischerbach youth band said goodbye to their summer break with a fantastic concert.
