Discover music, try out instruments and have fun together – the Wind Orchestra's family get-together
What does a trumpet actually sound like up close? What does it feel like to sit behind the drum kit or coax the first notes from a clarinet? You'll find the answers to these questions at the Family Get-Together of the Hausach Wind Orchestra. On Sunday, September 20, the town hall is transformed from 2 pm to 5 pm into a colorful world of experiences centered around music – with many hands-on activities for children and their families.
The focus is on hands-on experience: at various stations, young visitors can get to know the instruments of a wind orchestra, touch them, and of course, try them out themselves. In a playful way, they discover how much fun making music can be and which instrument might suit them best.
The children's wind orchestra and the Hausach-Fischerbach youth orchestra will also provide excellent entertainment, demonstrating with their performances what is possible with a little practice, enthusiasm, and team spirit. Anyone interested in learning more about instrumental lessons or the youth program of the town band will find all the important information on site.
Of course, there will also be plenty of time for socializing: coffee, cake, and drinks will be available while the children embark on a musical journey of discovery. Admission is free. The Hausach Wind Orchestra looks forward to welcoming many curious children, interested parents, and an exciting afternoon filled with music.
